Rick StrongBack is The Appalachian Circus StrongThem, a sideshow performer specializing in oldetime strongman feats of strength & durability! Rick has honed their skills on stage as a Strength Performer for since 2010, performing in front of crowds ranging from intimate private shows all the way up to festivals with hundreds in the audience.

WHO IS RICK STRONGBACK?
Rick StrongBack has been practicing oldetime feats of strength their entire life, and performing since 2010. They are an Award winning Fringe Fest performer, touring with the World Oddities Expo, and recent addition to the Asheville Burlesque & Sideshow Festival.
Outside of their avid fascination (or AuDHD hyperfocus) of Physical Culture, they are a Record Holding Powerlifter, gym-owner, and have coached dozens of record-holding athletes. Rick is a TransQueer activist, Mutual-Aid Organizer, Congressional Medal Recipient for their work during Hurricane Helene, Illustrator, and co-owner of the Archives of the Strange & Unusual Art Gallery & Curiosities Shop in Franklin, NC.
